Their faith is carrying them right now, but their spirits are very low.

Request: Please keep Chris K. (high school friend) & his family in prayer. After Suzanne, his wife, gave birth to a healthy baby girl on December 27, she had a pregnancy-related dissection of the left coronary artery. The triple bypass surgery went well & there was no long term damage and is expected to make a full recovery. Praise that the speed in which she received care saved her life.

Since her husband passed last year, her goal was to move back to Indiana to be with her children & grandchildren. Her family came & met the doctors & is mover her back. Request: Randy is going in for surgery today at Baylor Plano. We had a meeting with a doctor October 31 to see if he would be willing to do the fundoplocation surgery we need. What is normally an easy procedure, just isn't on Randy due to the stomach reconstruction and scar tissue from the thoracotomy last November. So he is not yet willing to do that surgery. He said that what he would like to do is see if a surgery called a laparoscopic pyloroplasty would help. He wants to try this procedure first, because if it doesn't work and a fundoplocation has to be done, they will have to do another thoracotomy. Randy will have this surgery on November 17 at Baylor Plano and will be in the hospital for 2 days with a 2 week recovery. Please be in prayer with us that this surgery is a success and the thoracotomy will not be needed.

The doctors were pleased with what they were able to accomplish with the first surgery. The surgery today (Friday) didn't go as well. They went it to try to get all the organs back in place and had to quit as they said it was too dangerous to go any further. At this time, we're not quite sure what's next. The surgery went well but this morning she was unresponsive and not stable. She needs to be moved to another hospital and they are unsure of what that will do to her condition. Request: Millie Martin (Debbi's mom) had back surgery on August 25, to remove a ruptured disc. They had problems with the removal & then the repair to the dura around her spine. She's had continued & worsening numbness since the surgery. A MRI showed spinal fluid accumulating in the repair area & they are going to have to go back in to drain the fluid & attempt to repair the dura again. They operated in the middle of the night last night as the team felt it was too urgent to wait until tomorrow.

Request: Please pray for healthy & well being for Ted Sickel (Tracy's friend) & his wife, Mandy. Ted is 48 yrs. old & has had a series of 17 strokes in the last year & is bedridden. Mandy is his primary caregiver and has also been working two jobs. Mandy is now sick & may have to take an extended leave from work.

Request: Please pray for Leta Ilginfritz & the Camizzi family. Leta was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks ago & is still in the hospital. She is in ICU and on a CPAP machine as her oxygen level is really low & they are debating whether or not to intubate her.
