Mitch's Dad is now done with all of his tests. It was determined that these symptoms were caused by sleep apnea. He had been diagnosed a few years back with this, but he hasn't been wearing his breathing apparatus at night since he experiences something close to claustrophobia when he wears it. It sounds like there is newer technology that won't be as confining. They checked everything to determine if there were any signs of lasting damage, but found nothing. Once again, thank you all for praying for my dad and mom.

Mitch's dad is doing okay. The doctors told him he has a "skip" (the technical term his brother used) in his heartbeat. He as send home for now & was told not to work until after his upcoming appointment with a specialist. Please also pray for Mitch's mom as this really upset her.

Request: Please keep Kelly Strom Bolger in your prayers. She is my best friend from high school and called Wednesday to let me know that she has cervical cancer. She is 42 and has 2 small children. She sees the oncologist Wednesday to find out when she will have to have a radical hysterectomy to hopefully get all the cancer out. We will know more then, but she is very worried, but strongly believes in the power of prayer and has asked for God's healing during this time.

Vickie was finally seen by a doctor yesterday. They told her this was very serious and if she has a recurrence to go immediately to the emergency room. They are trying another round of antibiotics and anti-nausea medicine. Please pray that this is successful and she is completely healed. Thanks.

My sister was still vomiting blood this weekend. They tried to schedule her with the same doctor who refused to treat her on Friday. She is waiting for the other doctor to be there to see her. Please pray that she will get the help she needs quickly.

Request: Please pray for my sister, Vickie. She went to the emergency room Monday night vomiting blood and there was blood in her stool. She has a serious infection in her colon. They wanted to admit her, but she refused. She saw a doctor to follow up on Wednesday and the doctor refused to treat her for a "stomach ache". We are trying to convince her to go back to the hospital to get the treatment she needs. She is a single mom on assistance from the state and my parents are overburdened with helping to support her. John Fuller is facing six weeks of radiation treatments which started yesterday. In addition, they will probably begin oral chemo next week. Fern was placed in hospice on December 2. The feeding tube has been disconnected because fluid was backing up in her lungs. Hospice is making her comfortable & she has a nurse with her 24/7 which is comforting. LeAnne & the family are spending every precious moment with her mom singing to her, reading scripture & reminiscing as they know that it's all in God's time. The family is letting her know that they will be okay and when she is ready, just to let go & go to the Lord.

Request: Please keep Rick & his family in your prayers as being separated is especially difficult. Rick is spending time with his father who has Level 3-4 Alzheimer's. Rick's dad has many blessings despite the disease & in his moment to moment world can engage & be his dad to Rick, his brothers & extended family. They will all be together for Thanksgiving in Colorado. Please pray for safe travels both ways for Ellie and their sons. Rick is missing his CBCC family as well. Request: Bill needs to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus. He has had a hard life, tragic experiences. He is being influenced by people who reject Christ & struggles with addiction. Many in his family are not Christian. There are two Christian men who are reaching out to him. Pray that the truth & love of Jesus will reach his heart; that he will put Jesus in charge of his life & be transformed & that his changed life will influence others toward our Lord. Thank you.

Request: Please pray for Thomas Medillo & his family. Thomas is recovering from a severe head injury. He is improving, but still uneasy with his situation. Also, his mother suffered a stroke. Pray for her healing & peace for the family.

Randy is home and recovering. The surgery went well. They intubated him with a breathing tube during the surgery and with that in; they were able to see more of the esophagus. The doctor believes he was able to get a good solid burn on 7 inches of damaged cells in Randy's esophagus. They did not do a biopsy of the cells this time, as they did not want to do any more damage. Randy will return in 2 months for the next surgery to get any cells they may have missed this round and they will biopsy the cells again then. Thank you all so much for your prayers and concerns! The Points are so blessed to be a part of this awesome CBCC family!

Request: Randy Points is having the halo ablation surgery tomorrow (October 30) to restart the three surgery process that we pray will heal the pre-cancerous condition in his esophagus. Please pray that God will guide the doctors hands & that this time the surgery will be a complete success & that the cells they biopsy will show the cells are no longer growing cancerous. Also, please pray for Randy's comfort & healing. Thank you so much!

Eric is hospitalized at Parkland with Stage 3 testicular cancer & multiple lesions on his lungs. More tests, probable surgery & cancer treatment to come. Please pray for healing, comfort & to provide the resources both physical and spiritual to deal with this.
